Steven Eagell Group Saves Over £300,000 on Vehicle Movements With Jigcar

Steven Eagell Group has partnered with Jigcar to streamline its retail vehicle movements following the completion of a successful trial, with the business already achieving savings of over £300,000 for the year.
Jigcar piloted its services with the group last year with its platform identifying cost savings across the retailer’s 32 Toyota and 11 Lexus locations.

All retail movements are now managed through the platform, building a set of movement data for leadership to review and streamlining the process for site staff.
Jigcar’s volume and movement data was then used to analyse the group’s transportation needs across its network. This has resulted in consolidation around fewer vetted providers who were able to agree to lower rates based on clear volumes, which has improved efficiencies and significantly reduced costs. The new rates agreed are worth £300,000 to the group on a yearly basis.
Steven Eagell Group is now consistently achieving retail vehicle movements within two days – three days quicker than the industry average, saving £30 per day per vehicle in stock costs and reducing days to sell.
